So fucking awesome. Somewhat like a post-rock influenced Khanate, or a slow-atmospheric-doom version of Indian Summer. Bits of Hell / MSW, Thou, Year of no Light even, but there is a current of 90's post hardcore in here that makes this a unique listen and not just another blackened doom band from the West Coast. It's kind of like classic Ebullition Records bands crossed with Level Plane Records bands & contemporary Southern Lord / 20 Buck Spin doom bands, brantly
Starting off sludgy with 'Genesis' the pace ramps right up towards the last half of the album. Nasty, noisy, gloomy and angry - in the best way possible. elatedsquash
